Fuel Cells:

Fuel Cell is an Energy Conversion Device.  It converts Chemical Energy into Electrical Energy. There are number of Fuel Cell technologies available, namely Solid Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells (SPE) or PEFC, Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells (MCFC), Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC), Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cells (PAFC) and more.

Out of all the fuel cells PEFC is the most popular fuel cell technology due to its operating temperature and potential applications.
